How does workspace pricing work?
Each plan price includes its seeded workspace allowance: 1 on Basic, 2 on Pro, and 5 on Business. A workspace is an isolated organizational unit with its own template, project, team, and API-key limits. The monthly email-delivery allowance belongs to the account and is shared across every workspace you own. Upgrade the plan when you need a larger included allowance.
Do I need my own email provider?
Every plan sends email through a provider you connect: SendGrid, Amazon SES, Postmark, Mailgun or any SMTP server. You pay them directly for delivery. If you would rather not set one up, add managed sending and CommuniQueue sends through its own email infrastructure. A workspace with its own provider always uses it; managed sending covers the workspaces that have none.
How is managed sending billed?
Pick a monthly block from 10,000 to 500,000 deliveries. Each 1,000 deliveries a month costs $1, or $12 a year on annual billing, and one block covers every workspace on your account. Past the block, sending stops unless you set an overage budget on the Billing page; within that budget, each extra 1,000 deliveries costs $1. Raising the block applies right away; lowering it applies from your next usage period. During a free trial you can buy only the 10,000 block; larger blocks open when the trial ends. Canceling stops managed sending now, and nothing is refunded or credited for the rest of the period.
Do I get open and click tracking?
Pro and Business show opens and clicks in your reports when the provider that sends the mail tracks them. Managed sending follows the tracking settings on each template; your own provider follows its own account settings. Basic reports deliveries, bounces and complaints, but not opens and clicks.
Do I need to verify a sending domain or email address?
Only for managed sending. When CommuniQueue sends for you, verify a sending domain (three DNS records, done once) or a single sender address (a confirmation email) before you send from it; an unverified from address is refused both when you save a template and when you send. Each plan includes a set number of verified domains and single senders per workspace, shown above. With your own provider, you verify your domain in that provider's dashboard instead.
What happens when I exceed my plan limits?
The email-delivery allowance is account-wide, so every workspace draws from the same monthly pool. By default, sends stop when it runs out. You can turn on overage up to an account spending cap; usage past the allowance is then billed in whole blocks of 1,000 at $0.25 per 1,000 on Basic, Pro and Business and $0.20 on Enterprise. Managed sending past its block is billed at $1 per 1,000 under the same cap. You can change the cap or upgrade at any time.
Which plans have a free trial?
Every plan, Enterprise included, has a 7-day free trial on your first subscription. If you send through your own provider, it bills its own delivery during the trial.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes. Moving to annual billing applies now; moving to monthly applies at your next renewal; otherwise upgrades apply now and downgrades when your current billing period ends, so current access is not removed mid-period. Changes that apply now are prorated (on annual billing the difference is charged when you change plan, on monthly it is added to your next invoice), and they end a free trial.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. Cancel at any time; eligible accounts normally stay active until the current billing period ends, with no further renewals after cancellation takes effect. Outstanding usage, overage, or invoice balances remain payable.
What happens to old template versions?
Published versions count toward your plan limit. Drafts do not count toward the version limit. When you publish at a finite limit, the oldest unlocked published version is removed. Lock any version you must retain. If every retained version is locked, publishing is blocked until you unlock one or upgrade.
What add-ons are available?
Managed sending is $1 a month per 1,000 deliveries ($12 a year on annual billing), in blocks from 10,000 to 500,000, and covers every workspace on your account. Managed dedicated IP addresses are $40/month or $480/year per workspace on Pro and Business, and $30/month per workspace on Enterprise. A dedicated IP sends through managed sending, so it needs that add-on. No plan bundles one, and Basic cannot add one. Additional team members are $5/month or $60/year each per workspace. Seats and dedicated IPs attach to a single workspace, so a second workspace is a separate purchase. Data retention is included with your plan: 14 days on Basic, 90 on Pro, 365 on Business.
What's the difference between webhook delivery and event webhooks?
Outbound webhook delivery is a messaging channel - you send messages to your own endpoints the same way you send emails. Event-webhook registration allocations are listed separately in the plan catalog, but registration management is not yet available.
Do you offer custom plans for enterprises?
Yes. Enterprise starts at $149/month billed annually, or $179.52/month billed monthly, and includes 1,000,000 email deliveries a month, shared across every workspace on the account, configurable up to 5 million.
